Cherie Ramsdell and Lonie Teachout have been long in mastering the art of Raky pottery. Ramsdell is fond of incorporating actual animal bones gathered from the Badlands of South Dakota into her art. And we carry the South Dakota exclusive sand and clay pottery, made with a formula created by the late Emil Cahoy from a clay found six feet underground on his farm. It took him three years to perfect this mixture of farm clay and sand. This pottery is fired to 2100 degrees, making it stronger than bake ware and safe for oven, microwave or dishwasher.
